About the Firm
A New York Attorney Who Fights for You
Mercurio Law, P.C. was built on a simple belief: every person deserves skilled, personal legal representation — regardless of the charges they face or the odds against them.
James Mercurio
Founding Attorney & Principal
James Mercurio brings nearly a decade of focused criminal defense experience to Mercurio Law, P.C. He founded the firm driven by a conviction that aggressive, principled advocacy should be available to everyone — not just those who can afford large firm rates.
A graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law, Mr. Mercurio is known among clients and colleagues for his meticulous preparation, calm courtroom presence, and refusal to accept outcomes that fall short of what his clients deserve. He personally handles every case at the firm — no hand-offs to junior associates, no assembly-line lawyering.
Outside the courtroom, Mr. Mercurio is an active member of the New York criminal defense bar and remains committed to providing clients with clear, honest counsel and a defense strategy built around the specific facts of their case.
